Founded in 1927 by José Dias de Oliveira and located in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Riopele is one of the oldest Portuguese textile companies, focusing its activity on the creation and production of fabrics for fashion and clothing collections.
As a privileged partner of the main global fashion brands, Riopele offers a vertical textile production service, capable of meeting the current fast pace of the fashion industry.
With a production capacity that exceeds 700,000 meters of fabric per month, Riopele focus on the production of high-quality fabrics, developed from natural, synthetic, artificial and recycled fibres, specialising in polyester / viscose / elastane composition.
Riopele vertically integrates the R&D, spinning, dyeing, twisting, weaving and finishing areas, which guarantees a high production flexibility, a high-quality control and a low lead time.
